As we all track Hurricane Dorian’s devastating progress, I want you to know that our partner agency, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), the leading Jewish humanitarian organization, is already providing emergency medical supplies and activating its network of local and international organizations to address people’s evolving needs in the Bahamas.
We can do this—and you make this possible—through the Annual Campaign and the power of our collective. This is how we are able to respond immediately to a crisis anywhere in the world, and do. This is why we are able to rise, together, to meet urgent needs abroad and at home. If you would like to join the relief effort by making a directed gift, 100 percent will go to the relief effort through our partner agency JDC.
