Jewish Innovation Funds Update
Our Jewish Innovation Funds were highlighted today on WCPO, in an article titled “With two new grants, Jewish Federation solicits creative, bold ideas,” complete with a beautiful interactive timeline of Jewish innovation in Cincinnati.
In February 2016 we announced the creation of the Jewish Innovation Funds and we asked the community to send us innovative ideas. Through our request for macrogrant proposals, we received 29 submissions from individuals, local organizations, national nonprofits and international groups. This response and the excitement it has generated exceeded all our expectations, and we are looking forward to the next steps. The committee is now reviewing proposals and will be meeting soon to discuss them. Please check back with us to see what ideas are funded. We are excited about the possibilities for our community and will keep you posted!
