Sending our support to Tel Aviv
As I head into this Shabbat and the holiday of Shavuot, my heart remains heavy in the aftermath of the terror attack taking the lives of four people in the heart of Tel Aviv. I know that many in our community are mourning the lives cut short, thinking of their families, and praying for a swift recovery of the injured. This article in the Times of Israel shares a little about those who were murdered, reminding us that the victims were men and women with hopes, dreams, and stories—just like us— who were taken too soon by terrorism. I am proud that the Cincinnati Jewish community stands in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Israel and that more than 500 of us will be heading there in July. May this Shabbat and Shavuot offer some peace in these challenging times.
