Help Kick Out Child Poverty on August 21
Are you ready to have fun, raise money, and change lives? Join us on August 21 for Kickin’ for a Cause, a one-day kickball tournament dedicated to raising money to promote awareness and address childhood poverty in Cincinnati—which has one of the highest child poverty rates in the country:
- In 2014, 44.3 percent of Cincinnati’s children lived in poverty
- Cincinnati’s rate is more than double the national rate of 21.7 percent and nearly double the state rate of 22.9 percent
Proceeds will be given to organizations that are tackling the issue of child poverty, including The Reds Community Fund which benefits the Reds Urban Youth Academy; needs-based subsidies for Mayerson JCC youth programming; and Jewish Family Service Bigs & Littles.
Join our YAD team or join your friends and help give kids a brighter future in Cincinnati.
If you can’t attend, please help us meet our fundraising goal of $5,000 by making a donation today.
Volunteers are also needed. If you’re interested in volunteering, or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call.
Together, we can make a difference.
