JCRC Statement on Attack that Killed Israeli Soldier
Together with the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, the Jewish Community Relations Council is incensed and grieving today after 20-year-old IDF Sgt. Elchay Teharlev was killed in a car-ramming attack near a bus stop in the West Bank.
We condemn this violent act, and we send our most heartfelt condolences to Sgt. Taharlev’s family.
Our prayers are for the quick recovery of another Israeli who was injured in the attack. As we mourn this tragic loss of life, we reaffirm our commitment to Israel’s safety and security and we call on the entire international community to condemn this attack.
