Longtime Jewish Federation Assistant Development Director Promoted to Chief of Staff
Cincinnati — The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati has named Lindsey Wade as its Chief of Staff. Wade most recently served as Assistant Development Director, overseeing the Federation’s Annual Campaign.
As Chief of Staff, Wade will lead staff culture and communication, meetings, and celebrations; coordinate interdepartmental operations; manage the Federation budget; and align the goals of the Federation with department staffing and priorities. In addition, she will manage the Marketing Department, manage strategic as well as day-to-day IT, and oversee grant management. Wade will be in charge of strengthening systems and processes and organization-wide measurement and evaluation.
Wade was hired at the Jewish Federation in 2006 as the Young Adult Division Director. Her title was expanded to include the Women’s Philanthropy Director soon after. She took on additional roles in the Development Department, eventually managing Major Gifts and the entire Annual Campaign. In addition to the campaign, as the Assistant Development Director, Wade oversaw the Young Adult Division Development Officer, the Women’s Philanthropy Director, and a Development Officer. She implemented a new donor database system, as well as managed the Federation’s Data Analyst and database maintenance.
“Lindsey Wade’s career at the Federation is the model for the Federation’s commitment to talent management, which is one of the Federation’s priority goals,” said Federation CEO Shep Englander. “If we are to remain a top-tier Jewish community, the Federation and its partner agencies must follow best practices to develop and retain top-tier Jewish professionals. One of those best practices is developing high-potential professionals early in their careers and then promoting them from within. Lindsey has always gone beyond her job description, focusing on the needs of the whole organization and on the community she loves. She has remarkable ability to integrate detailed systems with big goals in a collaborative, effective, and passionate way. She is the perfect choice to be the Federation’s Chief of Staff.”
Wade has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University Bloomington in Business and Telecommunications. She lives in Montgomery with her husband Eric and their two sons, Andrew and Tyler. They are excited to welcome their third son in May.
“I am honored to be named the Chief of Staff at the Jewish Federation,” Wade said. “I look forward to working with our talented team of professionals and volunteers, all of whom work tirelessly to build a strong and vibrant Jewish community. In my 12 years at the Federation, I have been fortunate to work in many different capacities, but I am especially motivated to take on this new role. By bringing our departments and priorities together, we can even better provide for the diverse needs of the community.”
