Danielle V. Minson — Raising the Bar
Our People Are Our Strength
One of my goals as president is to attract, retain, and develop high-performing professionals who are fully invested in the priorities of the Jewish communal ecosystem—not only here at the Federation, but across all of Jewish Cincinnati. One of the things that separates Cincinnati’s Federation from other Federations around the country is the quality of our staff.
I’m excited to share that three of our professional staff members have been featured in this month’s Cincinnati Business Courier in its People on the Move section.
Tamara Harkavy is our new Chief Development Officer and will be responsible for working with professionals and volunteers to steward the Federation Endowment, oversee the Federation’s annual fundraising effort of $8-$10 million, and lead the day-to-day management and supervision of a team of 16 professionals plus nearly 100 volunteers and lay leaders, all of whom support the community’s agencies and partners.
Lindsey Wade has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer, where she will continue to focus on staff development and will collaborate with operations, strategic planning, finance, and accounting. Wade has been with the Federation for 15 years, having begun in Development as the Young Adult Division (YAD) Director. She served as Senior Development Officer and then became Assistant Development Director, before being promoted to Chief of Staff in 2017.
And Jaynie Levinson has also been promoted into the role of Director of Women’s Philanthropy where she will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and developing donors and leaders and connecting them to the organized Jewish community. Since taking over as YAD Director in 2017, Levinson has overseen the launch of Cincinnati Vine, a central, interactive social media hub that young, Jewish adults can use to connect to each other and the Cincinnati Jewish Community.
These changes will facilitate greater collaboration, creativity, and agility within the community and organization. We’ve never been this strong.
Thanks for caring about our community and what we do.
