Israel Through our Interfaith Lenses: Rabbi Robert Barr in Business Courier
I wanted to share Rabbi Robert Barr’s op-ed in last week’s Cincinnati Business Courier, which highlights Congregation Beth Adam’s unique interfaith itinerary on our recent Congregation and Community Israel Mission. Rabbi Barr co-led his group with Unitarian Rev. Sharon Dittmar, and they visited both Christian and Jewish sites. His op-ed is a wonderful reminder of the importance and power of building interfaith bonds and understanding. —Sarah

Beth Adam’s Interfaith Trip to Israel was 40 years in the making. It began in 1976 when my parents and their friends came to visit me in Israel. My folks had come to see Israel, and their friends, who weren’t Jewish, came to see the Holy Land. They traveled the same streets, saw the same sites and yet experienced them differently. Their trip was richer as they discussed their perspectives and I came to appreciate the magic of Israel through multiple lenses. More >
