JCRC Statement on Texas Church Shooting
The Jewish Federation of San Antonio is deeply saddened to learn of the murderous violence that occurred at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs earlier today. We are disturbed and saddened by this senseless act of violence at a house of worship. It has no place in this world. We send our sincerest condolences to the families of the victims, and we pray for a complete recovery of body and soul for those who were injured. May the congregants of First Baptist Church and the residents of Sutherland Springs find comfort in their community and strength and love among each other.
