Until now, no Federation has ever sent an American emissary to its partnership city in Israel to do outreach and education for a year.
Meet Brianna Pecsok, the first Cincinnati Fellow in Israel, an American emissary who will spend a year in Netanya teaching people about life, culture, and Judaism in the United States.
They’re here! Our Chaverim M’Israel, Stav and Liat arrived in Cincinnati safely on Wednesday. They’re not taking it easy, though. Even after hours of travel they arrived at work ready to get started. We know they’re really going to make an impact this year with all that energy. Welcome!
Seven years ago, the Youkilis family hosted Chaverim M’Israel, Tomer Peretz. In 2017, they hosted his younger brother, Alon! How did they say goodbye? A treat at Graeter’s, both times! Yum!
When you give to Federation, you help support our partnership with Netanya. Learn more about Netanya and our Partnership2Gether collaboration with our sister city (a program run through the Jewish Agency for Israel.
Partnership2Gether and the Chaverim M’Israel are just two of over fifty programs and agencies funded in part by the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati.
