Israeli Chronicles — Connecting Israel & Cincinnati
September Netanya Update
Would you love to stay on the beach in Netanya in this beautiful zula? We know we would! The brother of Stav, one of our Chaverim M’Israel, builds these beautiful structures.
Meet Brianna, our first Cincy Fellow! She will be in our partnership city, Netanya, Israel, for the next year, explaining American culture and Jewish pluralism through teaching English.
Check out this article to learn more about Brianna and the Cincinnati Fellow in Israel program.
Cincy Fellow, Brianna Pecsok, arrived in Israel yesterday and was welcomed at the airport with hugs and balloons. She’ll be staying with hosts Dalia and Eli Klein. Brianna is familiarizing herself with Netanya already, taking walks around the city, and even visiting a farm that grows exotic fruit trees a little north of the Netanya city center. Thanks, Brianna, we can’t wait to hear more!
When you support Federation, you support Partnership2Gether, a program that builds people-to-people connections between Netanya and Cincinnati. Through P2G, Oren Enzwaig, an IDF soldier, led a delegation of eight Israeli Tzofim (Scouts) from the Ramon Tribe of Netanya, Israel, Cincinnati’s Partnership city, to Camp Livingston this summer. See here to learn more about how your dollars help our global agencies.
