Israeli Chronicles — Connecting Israel & Cincinnati
October Netanya Update
Cincy Fellow: Brianna Pecsok, a 25-year-old Cincinnati native, is spending a year in Netanya, Israel as the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati’s first Cincinnati Fellow in Israel, teaching Israelis about life, culture, and Judaism in the United States. Here’s what she’s been up to since she arrived!
Rosh Hashanah: What did Rosh Hashanah look like in Israel? One of our Chaverim M’Israel, Liat, shared some photos sent to her by friends and family of their beautiful dinner tables. A little piece of home!
Sukkot: #FlashBackFriday to Sukkot in Israel. Netanya’s Partnership2Gether co-chair Belli Haus and Director Avi Kagan share pictures of their beautiful Sukkahs in Israel.
When you give to Federation, you help support our partnership with Netanya. Learn more about Netanya and our Partnership2Gether collaboration with our sister city, a program run through the Jewish Agency for Israel. Follow our Chaverim m’Israel on Facebook.
Partnership2Gether, the Cincinnati Fellow in Israel program, and the Chaverim M’Israel are just three of over fifty programs and agencies funded in part by the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati.
The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati: We look at the whole picture, taking into account the diverse needs of the entire community. Together we can do almost anything.
